hello, i tried all applehda from 10.6.2 till 10.6.7 (beta) but i´ve got the same error´s only in diff. lines

i only use the postinstall for gts450 because i´ve got a alc883 chip.

is it enouph ? do we need a pinconfig driver ?

Unfortunately, it seems like the best option for onboard for these codecs is 10.6.2 AppleHDA for now. I'm continuing to test and refine this package- and when it's done, it will go into MultiBeast....

I have a geforce gt 430 with voodoo 0.2.1 and working HDMI with sound but i would like to remove the voodoo extension and have HDMI audio and onboard working.

I don't really know how to add the code to the my DSDT using DSDTSE, i get compile error all the time. I think it is because i am copy/pasting directly from the text but am not sure..

my NVCAP value is the same as in the code you've posted Tony so i think that if I could just manage to get the code into my DSDT i could give this a go.

So, what might i be doing wrong here?

i had help from Sudds adding the HDAU edits and i have attached my new DSDT and would like to know how to add the code.

Place the code tony posted into Device(PCI0)

If you get compile errors (not warnings!), look through the DSDT fixes/hacks (i forget which) list on DSDTSE's main GUI window and see if they have a solution for the error listed. Then install the DSDT into the HDD partition that your chameleon is placed in. If its your Snow Leopard HDD, make sure you tick 'Extra'

well.. my DSDT is fully working (i can compile it) until i copy paste the code submitted by Tony.
I get the compile errors from the the lines in Tony's code. I think I doing something wrong though.

No-go with my current configuration (accurate in my sig). All of my audio devices disappeared from System Preferences, although they were shown in System Profiler, including the HDMI.

I had to modify my DSDT differently, though. Basically, I left out the whole GFX0 section, because it causes my GT240 (without GraphicsEnabler) to be stuck at 1024x800 without QE/CI.

I reverted back to my old, modded AppleHDA which used to work for both on-board and HDMI, but just doesn't any more (only on-board works). I was hoping this was a solution.

...well.. my DSDT is fully working (i can compile it) until i copy paste the code submitted by Tony.

I get the compile errors from the the lines in Tony's code. I think I doing something wrong though.

Experience has taught me that when I copy from one application to another w/o copy & pasting into a (pure) text editor, I get extra (invisible) characters.

Try copying the code again, but this time into a TextEdit window that you've "Make Plain Text" (Format menu item). Then copy from the TextEdit into your DSDT. This "trick" uses TextEdit like NotePad.

Dunno if this helps or not, but it can't hurt to try.
