audio popping - any solutions?

I updated audio driver using mb5.3, there's no popping anymore. but still no hdmi audio.

Fixed my original issue, well sort of. Nothing I could do would make the popping stop. Went ahead and bought a rev 1.0 of the board and works perfectly with the MB codec. No more popping. So either it was a bad board (unlikely as it was brand new from Amazon) or the codec doesn't support the rev 1.1 board so well
