Audio on Gigabyte H61M-DS2

How did it go? I'm thinking of buying this board, but I want to know that I can get audio running

By the way, there is a DSDT i the DSDT database ... new?

I have the same board, but version 2.0. It has realtek LAN and realtek alc887 audio. I have also tried all the previous methods. VoodooHDA causes a panic on start up. I thought 887 was compatible with the HDAEnabler888b.kext? Does anyone know why its not working with this board? Thank you in advance.

1. upgrade your H61M-DS2 Rev 1.0 F1 board bios to H61M-DS2 Rev 1.0 F3 board
2. download the dsdt from dsdt.php.
3. using dsdtedit to edit the download DSDT-GA-H61M-DS2-F3.aml at line 4634
from 0x79, 0x03,0x00,0x00 to 0x77, 0x03, 0x00, 0x00. The lay-out ID was wrong, it should be 0887, but it was 0889 at the original file. An updated copy is attached.
4. place the dsdt.aml at your extra folder.
5. if you have problem of network card just use the attached file in here.
6. install the voodoohda 2.7.3. your sound card should start working now.
7. if you have problem of sound crackles please go to Applications - Utilities - Audio MIDI Setup, change the Formato to 44100.0hz
8. restart your computer.
Hopefully it helps you. I had same motherboard with i3 working fine.
