I just finished building my custom Hackintosh, I bought all the hardware according to the guide for the Sandy Bridge custom builds from this site.
I have a:
Gigabyte Z68MX-UD2H-B3 motherboard
i5 2500k Processor
8GB Ram
500GB Segate Harddrive
Running OS X 10.6.8

Everything besides my audio works properly. It's all static sounding and not very clear, some popping too.
I've tried fixes from the forums, I deleted the Apple HDAkext and HDAenabler and all that and used Multibeast to install the correct Kexts according to others with the same motherboard and nothing works.
Also every time I try installing a DSDT file thats for my motherboard it corrupts OS X and I have to reinstall it.
I'm not sure if thats my issue but I need help! :(

Re: Audio Issue with Custom Hackintosh

Download the Post Installation files from this website and follow step 7. Just do the audio ones (realtek and voodoo). This worked for me when I had the same issue.

Re: Audio Issue with Custom Hackintosh

I got it, just had the wrong DSDT installed!
