if I delete hdaenabler, I have no more audio

Hi! I just ran the automatic HDMI audio script. It didn't work—after rebooting, I still don't have HDMI audio.

I don't really care about HDMI audio that much, so I'm not too upset nor am I interested in troubleshooting the problem further. However, in the interest of having a "clean" system, I'd like to uninstall the script/undo any changes it made. How should I go about this?

I'm confused, what file should I download?

Are the problems noted in Post #1056 fixed?
If yes, attach new files.

Ok Toleda, this is what we have attempted in post #1056:

config.plist/ACPI/DSDT/Patches/change B0D3 to HDAU - not working
--> Reverted to original config.plist, as the B0D3 to HDAU change seems to lose power management / display backlight control.

config.plist/Graphics/ig-platform-id/0x0a260006 - not working
--> Original config.plist uses that platform-id with no problem, including backlight patch.

config.plist/Devices/Arbitrary/Intel HDMI HDA - missing
--> As you noted later, it was there as "Devices/Arbitrary/1:Intel HDMI HDA". Reverted to original config.plist. Does it worth to try it alone?

Attach cloverHDMI script output
--> Don't know what it is that. Can you explain, please?

IOReg/HDEF? If you don't know, attach current IOReg.
Suggestion, attach IOReg to every reply.

I applied your layout-id 0x0d, 0x01, 0x00, 0x00 to my dsdt, and now the sound is also recognized without the kext HDAEnabler.
I deleted HDAEnabler.kext by S / L / E and repaired permissions and cache, rebooted with hdmi connected and these are the files.

The notebook starts with plug hdmi connected with SMBIOS macbook pro 8.1
macbook pro with SMBIOS 8.2 and HDMI connected no arrival at the desktop crashes.
