The point is made many times, HD3000 HDMI audio only works with Audio ID: 3. Patched AppleHDA.kext supports Audio ID: 1, 2 or 3.trying to activate HDMI audio and while reading the Post 1, I still have some newbies question.
Ok, I did that and I have patched the one that is "Enables LC" and put the new DSDT in the "Extra" folder. I have ran the AppleHDA command and the IntelFrameBuffer command, I used "B" for HD4600 and it is not working. I also have ran Multibeast and selected and built with the "Optional EFI Installed Bootloader Support". Do I have to add a key or string to the "org.chameleon.Boot.plist"?0 errors, proceed.

Try:
MultiBeast - Select: Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALCxxx > √ ALC889
Plus √ Optional HD 3000/HD 4000 HDMI Audio
Attach IOReg.
IOReg shows you did not install as noted; Audio ID is not correct. Try again.Installed as above, no sound on HDMI.
