Audio and Migration Assistent do not work, need Help.

Hey Guys,

after a fine post installation i´d like to imigrate my user files. Starting Migration Assistent works, but at the point searching for other Macs or Files he is searching endlessly.

My Set up is a Asus Z170i Mainboard in a beautiful mini Mac Pro Chieftech Tower.

Mainboard: Z170i Asus
CPU: i5-6500
RAM: 1x 16GB DDR4 2400 Kingston HyperX
WD Black 2TB
SSD 128 M.2 Samsung AHCI

This workstation works fine in 4K Resolution @ the huge BDM 4065UC Philips Display. I got problems with the resolution, but chainging the cable did fix it. High Quality Cable is recommended.
The System works fine, but without the Realtek Audio installation 1150 by Multibeast. How can i fix both of the Problems ?

I don't know the answer to the Migration Assistant problem, but I think I can help with the audio. Try this:
  1. Remove any audio kexts that have been installed in /Library/Extensions and/or EFI/Clover/kexts/*. This includes realtekALC.kext, ALC*.kext, etc.
  2. Reboot.
  3. Run MultiBeast. Choose ONLY Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALCxxx > 100 Series Audio.
  4. Build and reboot.
  5. Run MultiBeast again. Choose ONLY the driver for your motherboard's audio codec (in your case, I believe it's an ALC1150, so Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALCxxx > ALC1150).
  6. Build and reboot.
  7. Check for working sound.

the folder EFI/Clover/kext/* does not exists or i dont know where to find. any idea ?
 
i have found a realtek audio kext file, i have deleted.

I mean these folders on your EFI partition (that's where the Clover bootloader lives, use EFI Mounter to mount it):

(especially the last two, but check all of them).
