hello there...

i have 2GB ATI 6730m with same Dev ID (6740:1002)

also have some trouble with it..the graphic card is just showing standard resolution (1024x768) display 3mb graphic..

whenever i use GE=Yes, it's going to be a total blackscreen but the system is still working.. i try some framebuffer(Muskgrass, Juncus, Gibba, Kudzu) but it is still not working..some framebuffer end with total blackscreen and some end with blackscreen and backlight working..if i use GE=No, i will only get a standart resolution.. :?



this is the chimera 1.7 change log =

Added the following AMD GPUs:
0x6740, 0x1D121043, CHIP_FAMILY_TURKS, "AMD Radeon HD 6730M", kNull
------

i am using Lion 10.7.2 right now..


any solution maybe??

i saw from picture that Flashe uploaded here..he has 2 graphics there..intel and ATI HD 6770m also with 1600 x 900 resolution..

how to make the intel HD3000 works? im kind of confuse with that..

Now even I am confused,

but the above is your PC Desktop? because if it is at the limit seems normal to me (No QE / CI at the moment).

I just got back from work,

and I have been looking for your laptop on the Asus site.
I do not know all of your peripherals, but it seems really well built (although I first had an Asus Notebook = Osx working without dsdt ).

I have not seen on the specifications, the presence of the Intel HD3000, but if I'm not mistaken your CPU, it has a welded on him:

means that it is disabled by your bios, your luck!

So I apologize again if you ask stupid questions:

1) you tried to change in your AtiPort in o.c.b.p?
2) you have a dsdt?
3) What supports at maximum resolution your display (important)?

You may need to make small changes (the dsdt Dual link patch, and in o.c.b.p)
or more difficult, to change your framebuffer binary in ATI6000Controller.kext.

But you are already lucky enough

I would love to put off my HD3000, in my bios can not do this!!

You can post your Extra folder, and your dsdt?
and you can see whether GPUz in Windows, if you can extract the rom?
we try to do something .......
