ATI 5770 + 10.6.5 = 64bit, yet?

I know there have been some experimental options for getting 64bit ATI drivers for the 5xxx series. Does anyone know if 10.6.5 helped with those options? Is a stable/official fix around the corner or still a ways off? I'm just curious.

Yeah an update for any of the 5xxx cards (5870 user here!) would be great. I think my vid card is the only thing that is holding me back using the 64bit kernel.
