I have a Gigabyte Z77-UD5H with Core I7 Ivory Bridge that I cannot get the Atheros E2200 Network connection to takewith a fresh Sierra install. This is a factor of the Kext not showing up, though the hardware shows as present. is this an EN0, as I have a vague recollection of this happening with El Capitan or another issue?

Since this is a dual Ethernet Board, the Intel side is working, but I cannot get the Atheros to work.

Remove /Library/Extensions/AtherosE2200Ethernet.kext

Download KextBeast 2.0.1 and AtherosE2200Ethernet-V2.2.0.zip

1. Place AtherosE2200Ethernet.kext from /AtherosE2200Ethernet-V2.2.0/Release/ folder on your desktop.
2. Run KextBeast installer
3. Select the destination folder: /Library/Extensions
4. Reboot

I got mine to work but sometimes it will randomly prevent the OS from booting. It just hangs on -v at SetMulticastList().

Make sure ALXEthernet is deleted from S/L/E.

Thank you. I will attempt and get back with an outcome over the weekend.

Hi. I have the same motherboard like you. What do you select in multibeast 9?

Quick Start > UEFI Boot Mode

Drivers > Disk > 3rd Party SATA

Drivers > Misc > FakeSMC v6.21-311-g2958f55.1723

Drivers > Network > Atheros > AtherosE2200Ethernet v2.2.0

Drivers > Network > Intel > AppleIntelE1000e v3.3.3

Drivers > USB > 3rd Party USB 3.0

Bootloaders > Clover v2.3k r3766 UEFI Boot Mode

Customize > System Definitions > iMac > iMac 14,2

Any suggestions ?

What's the difference between your method and multibeast installation of the driver ?
