On my brand new HP ProBook 450 G2 I managed to install Yosemite 10.10.3 with CLOVER update 3202 native UEFI. Almost everything working fine except internal WiFi (external TpLink USB dongle was ok)
I allready swapped, in order:
two different Azurewave AR5B95 and one Atheros AR9280 (AR5BHB92) with the same results. Network card recognized but no wireless device are detected at all. Also manually entering the SSID and password doesn't seems to work...:banghead:

I reinstalled clover, replaced the original kexts from a working OSX 10.10.3 (on a TM Apple mac mini), deleted all the system preferences "network related" without success.

The device seems to be correctly recognized by the OS

In the system information also seems to be correctly recognized

System logs shows scan in progress every time I enable the wifi

When I try to create a wireless network by myself i also get an error I don't understand in the wifi logs.

I don't know what else attach more... Any of you that had the pleasure to get these adapters fully working right OOB please, help me finding what is driving me nuts.

Here is the troubleshooting files

Press wifi button on your keyboard if you have it, then wait for a few minutes.

Or booting from linux/windows, connect to wifi then restart to OS X again.

;-( didn't work... the button is always on (amber), can't switch wifi on/of from there. I tried also switching it on/off from UEFI with no success... The system, as you can see, does recognize it but shows the "Status" as "Not Associated"...

I read something about injecting kext but I thought this card should work out of the box and I don't really want to mess it up.

Button LED does not reflect true state of power. Be patient after pressing it. If it doesn't work, press again. Again, be patient before pressing it again as it will take time for the networks to populate and the LED doesn't work.

Also, test your hardware on Windows.

Try tapping pin 20 of your card. This will help you to detect wifi networks and connect to them. Your system controls the wifi radio through pin 20. Tapping it allows the wifi to be always on the on state.
