Hello Everybody

I am helping to a friend with his first build and all works ok but the port ethernet built-in is not working

The chipset of the ethernet port is a Atheros 8151 ... I tried install the kext from Multibeast but is not working 100%, I have internet but I can not see other shared computers

i searched in the forum and found others with the same problem but nobody offers a solution

Even I have searched in google but I could not found a relevant solution

Exists other solution? perhaps buy a network card but I don know which model that could work for his Hackintosh

Ideas?

His configuration is

Mobo: Gigabyte H77M-D3H
CPU: Intel i3 2100
Video Card: nVidia GT 440 1024 Mb
Mac OS X 10.8.2 Mountain Lion
Thanks in advanced

Have you tried the kext being developed in this thread ?

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/283086-updated-atheros-ar8131325152-driver-for-107108/

The lastest version 1.2.2 is very recent and was built 2012/11/03

It supports Atheros AR8151 v1.0/2.0 as well as AR8152 v1.1/2.0, AR8131 and AR8132. There is no support for AR8161 or AR8162.

Haven't been able to get the Multibeast provided kext or the one mentioned above to work. I have a GA-H77M-D3H v1.1 board

Thanks grinder

I'm going to try this out as soon as possible

Greetings
