@rehabman

As promised the dsdt / ssdt files extracted with clover.
I have also enclosed a ioreg and the clover folder with it.

I don't think I requested them. What is the issue?

Maybe you could check if this have something to do with not able to log in to iMessage/facetime and iCloud. I have tried the nullethernet.kext but because of the not functional DSDT / SSDT's not able to check that.

You need working Ethernet at en0. You can use NullEthernet.kext if you have no supported built-in Ethernet device.

see post #629.

The extracted .dsl's compile clean after patching except ssdt-10. I can't figure out how to clean the last errors. I think that the errors are related to the brightness patches.

Read post #630.

Also quoting the guide:
Let me state it quite simply (because this comes up a lot): If you are opening an AML file directly in MaciASL and clicking Compile, you are doing it WRONG. Let that soak into the gray matter between your ears for a minute.

I know opening .aml files directly will give problems. Your explanation was clear in only working with the .dsl files. After patching the .dsl files and saving them as acpi .aml files, all went fine except for ssdt-10. The other .aml files aren't being used except for placing them in clover/acpi/patched. You mention in the dsdt / ssdt guide that the ssdt's need to be renamed (ssdt-1 ssdt-2 etc) for correct functionality.

Don't get me wrong. I'am stuck on this point with ssdt-10.dsl

I find no issue with SSDT-10.dsl.

If you disassemble your EFI/Clover/ACPI/origin properly (with refs.txt):
Code:
iasl -da -dl -fe refs.txt DSDT.aml SSDT*.aml

Note: I chose to use EIF/Clover/ACPI/origin since the files in extract.zip are not native and do not disassemble cleanly.

Then open SSDT-10.dsl in MaciASL and move the Externals from refs.txt as described in the guide...

Result: SSDT-10.dsl compiles without errors and can be saved as SSDT-10.aml just fine.

Note: No renaming necessary with Clover. Please read the guide carefully.

It has been removed, probably due to violation of site rules: http://www.tonymacx86.com/faq.php

Follow the Clover guide linked from the FAQ.

Was anybody able to get the install working on the UX305LA? I am able to boot into the installer but it is not recognizing my SSD. I'm guessing I messed up the patches to get the SATA working correctly, but I'm not sure where I made any errors. Any help would be appreciated!

I dont want to read the entire thread sorry.. But I also time it's a good time to sum up info.

1. Has anyone have been able to make the UX305CA wifi card work?
2. If not, can I install one onboard or do I need to get a USB dongle?

Cheers all!
