Hey guys,
I am using all these component to try to build a hackintosh.
Here are the parts:

Asus z97M-plus
i5-4460
8G of crucial Ram.

The issue I am having is I cannot get into the installer...
I tried -x -v and it shows me this message (see attachments).
It said does not support this cpu.
However when I checked the buyer's guide, the cpu im using is supported.

What am i supposed to do now????

please help.

Probably some of the bios settings are not right. Which did you change ?

Also you must use either DVI or HDMI to connect to the monitor, not VGA.

Try booting with "dart=0 -f -x -v"

As mentioned above, use only DVI-DVI or HDMI-HDMI cable for monitor connection, avoid VGA and conversion cables.

Hi there.
Thank you again for helping out with my issue.
Last time was you also, giving me advises about different boot flags.
I just wanna thank you.

I have tried to install Yosemite on my Hackintosh a couple of times.
At the 3rd or 4th time I managed to install it without inserting any boot flags.
Now I am having a fully functional Hackintosh.
Everything works great for now.

Hey, I am currently encountering 1 issue with my Hackintosh now.
Every time i boot up the system, after the ASUS Bios screen showed up, there is a short period of time my screen goes snow screen.

It didn't hurt much since after 4,5 secs it will be gone anyway.

However I recently found out that during normal time uses, it happens too.
And this time I cant do anything about it.
Once the snow screen showed up, I have to restart my com by holding power button.
Is there any fix for this???

Did you gave up on the Asus mb and changed to the gigabyte one on your description?

I am currently leaning to the asus, so any advice would be great!

Hey, I am still using this motherboard.

The issue I posted above didn't happen again....

I have no idea whether it will reappear or not.

But now everything seems works fine for me.

Good Luck!
