Asus Z170P Ethernet Problems

Using the excellent info on this site I have the latest version of OSX running.I have got sound on HDMI from my nvidia GT760 the only problem I have is the realtek ethernet which is connected but has a self assigned ip address so I have use a usb wifi adapter . The funny thing is that when I first boot my ethernet has all the right settings but will not connect as soon as I try it goes to self assigned ip .Any body got any ideas its driving me crazy

You need use the latest kext.

I also have an Asus Z170-P motherboard, but I can't install OS X! Would you be willing to help me by sharing what steps/files you used?
