ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming Panic Reboot Please help!

i have a ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming mobo,
my setup is
i7 6700k,
16x2 DDR 4
ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming
NVIDIA gforce 480

and using the Stork's config.plist to install with nv_disable=1
however, i am stuck at reboot issue with Panic Message.

If you're following Stork's build why not post this there? Surely your best option to resolve the problem.

EDIT: Oh I see, you're using Stork's build as a guide with different hardware. Did you search the forum for ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming?

Are you using nVidia 900 card, if not why use "nv_disable=1"? I don't have a Z170 board but believe there's an issue with on-board video... Did you search Z170 on-board video?

I did search for the Z170 pro gaming but I am not seeing the same issue in the forums .
I am using NVIDIA gf 480 with nv_disable=1 but that's the error msg

Try with inject nvidia true and drop the nv_disable flag.

I have the exact same motherboard, exact same reboot panic.

...and the solution was that the serial port needs to be disabled!

I got the exact panic on GB Z170-D3H with a GTX 460...
DOn't know what to do tooo

Serial port disable. Worked!
