I'm trying to install OSX 10.11 on my X79 system

Asus X79 Pro
i7 3930K
Nvidia 760

but it fails with a stop symbol.

Anyone with the same issues?

Thanks

Often that means you're booting with EFI files installed by an older version of Clover. If you're doing an upgrade, you probably need to re-install Clover to your boot drive with v3270 or later. If you're doing a clean install, make sure you create the boot USB with Clover v3270 or later.

In particular, you probably need the OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi from a current version of Clover.

First, thanks for your response.
I used Clover v3270 trying to make a clean install on another SSD.

This is my first time using Clover.
Yosemite is running perfectly with Unibeast/Multibeast as my main OS

Try booting verbose and see if you get a particular error

Booting in verbose mode and all I can see is "Can't find kernel".
I just don't know what to do 'cause this is the first time I'm using Clover...

If you have any devices connected other than your keyboard, mouse, and USB drive, disconnect them and try again.

Tried but no lucky.
Now the message is "Can't find boot"

I just upgraded El Capitan on my Asus P9X79 pro computer.
Before, I was using Yosemite. Like you !

To be able to boot from your usb key, you need to set
GraphicsEnabler=No npci=0x2000 and nv_disable=1
You can also add -v.It is faster without.

Under Clover selection screen :
- type "O" then use down key to options box,
- hit space to edit it,
- return key when done,
- Return at the bottom of the list ->
- choose your UsbKey ... and boot !

If you plug your usb key on the front panel of your computer, you will get a
"Still waiting for root device"
error code (if -v was enabled, otherwise, you will not be able to read this error).
Simply plug your Usb key, on a free usb2 slot on your motherboard and boot will succeed ! You will be able to install El Capitan

Reboot with your usb key and follow the procedure from Tonymac !

Edit : I have not disconnected anything, and I simply used default bios settings to install El Capitan

Thanks a lot for the tips!
I was able to boot and install El Cap just plugging my USB key on the back panel (as you suggest).

Unfortunately USB on the front panel (2 USB 2.0 and 2 USB 3.0) didn't work at all.
I know it's a common issues with El Cap but is not very confortable.

I'll appreciate any tips/trick.

Thanks again for your support :)

PS I use only npci=0x2000 as a boot args, that's all my system needs.
