Hi everyone, and thank you for this great and super userful community!

I'm trying to get my hands on hackintoshing. Very interesting, but quite complicated!

I followed this tutorial : [Guide] ASUS Zenbook UX310UA macOS Mojave / Catalina Installation Guide/. My computer is a slightly different model (Intel i7-6500U and Intel HD 520).

I was able to boot on the installer and install Catalina on my hard drive. But I am not able to boot on the system. From my understanding, the problem is related to the iGPU that fails to load.

I first got what is shown on screenshot 1.

I then use the "-disablegfxfirmware" flag at boot, and the error changed (screenshot 2). Basically, I get stuck on "tx_flush:1028: xid 1169 tx_stats #28 finish 20 enter 349 wait 0us close 0us flush 44646us", then the next two lines appear as a flash, and the Apple logo shows with an empty loading bar and the mouse (once I move the mouse, it disappear, and when I press some key on the keyboard, the screen flashes).

Then I tried to inject Intel (with ig-platform-id 0x19160000 / 0x12345678 / 0x191b000), got same results.

It seems several other users get the same problem with Catalina, but I could not get any solution. Any help ?

I use RehabMan's config.plist for Intel HD 520, and attached is my EFI configuration.

Thank you for any help you could provide!

Did you fix that?

Nope, I didn't...
However, I ended up installing Mojave instead, which works very good !
