Adrian I reinstalled everything (fresh install) using DSDT free.

Only two things are not working
a. USB 3: I think thats the problem with Yosemite as my B75 build has that problem. If you know how to fix it them give me some idea I will try on this thing. I used few tricks like using kext and adding bootflags as mentioned in forum but still its not working.

b. Sound is not working. I treid a lot. Any suggestion

Apple have broken audio. The recommended option is to use this thread:

Another option is to remove the audio options that you have installed to the trash/empty trash. Reboot using the -f bootflag and use MultiBeast for Mavericks 6.1.0 or 6.2.2 and install ONLY the correct audio option for the motherboard.

Erik's MultiBeast options should work with Yosemite:

Have you found anyone running OS X and this motherboard that has the USB3 ports working?

Great advice Adrian. I will check first option. I have tried option II with Mavericks Multibeast settings still its not working.

Well I dont know anyone who can confirm USB3 on this motherboard(X79). How about your build B75. Is USB 3 working on your build. Any recommendation for B75 build. May be that method work on X79 build.

Hi Adrian, I used the following boot flag:
npci=0x2000 and -gux_defer_usb2 -gux_no_idle

I didnt use -f and PCIRootUID=0 in boot flag as mentioned in Robbie's build below:
He suggested this for USB 3 fix. Should I use it. I was not sure so I need you advice on this.

I think that I have seen the guys over in the Laptop forum use it will success. Give it a try and report back. :thumbup:
USB3 on B75 has never worked properly - have to admit to using a USB2 hub for convenience. I would like to start trying USB3 for trial installs more than anything.

Edit: This might be a better thread to use for your audio:
