ASUS Radeon HD 6870 1GB OC running TOO hot, help?

Hello,

I just recently discovered that my ASUS 6870 is running too hot!

When I start up my computer the card is usually on 60 degrees and after a bit of browsing it's around 61-65.

I think that is WAY too hot of a temperature when just idleing. The card is cleaned and has no dust whatsoever.

Anyone else with this card that have similar temperatures?

Is there any way of fixing this? I bought the card back in June last year.

Are you using 10.8.3 and MacPro 3.1 smbios?

Still too high temperatures, it's around 55 idle now.

Also SpeedStep broke when changing from Mac Pro 3.1 to iMac 12.2.
