ASUS P8Z68-V PRO – BIOS 3402 – Mouse/Keyboard freezing on Language screen

Hello tonymacx86 community,

My Mouse and Keyboard freezes on the installation screen where you select your preferred language.

My hardware specs are as follows:

CPU: i7 2600K
Motherboard: ASUS P8Z68-V -V PRO (BIOS 3402)
RAM: Corsair XMS3 8GB
GFX: MSI GTX 560TI
SSD: Intel X25-M 80GB
HDD: Western Digital 1TB Black – SATA 3

I’ve read a lot of successful installations with the ASUS P8Z68-V PRO. I think the mouse/keyboard freezing issue is coming from the BIOS version (3402) which is the latest one at this current state, however I am uncertain if the root of this problem is caused by the BIOS version.

Ok guy's,

I loaded Lion from USB and it's showing this error in Verbose mode.

The images are too big and cannot be attached therefore i have used Dropbox.

I had a similar problem. None of the USB ports on the back seemed to work. Instead I used the extra USB panel that can be installed on the front of the machine. Mine is USB 2.0 and so I was able to get it to connect.
