Asus P8P67 Overclocking Settings

I just wanted to share my OC settings for everyone to benefit and hope others will do so, too.

Maybe add your Cinebench scores, will do so, too.

this is with air cooling temps are around 70°C. (checked with istatpro)
I´m using an Alpenföhn Brocken to chill my CPU.

I know there are other boards about OCing but this is specifically MACOSX.

Are you using the stock cooler on this overclock? Also, what memory are you using?

70*C! Is that idle or under load?

If it's at idle, you need to lower your vcore, that's running hot. As a comparison, mines currently idling at 27*C. Under load it hits 60*C.

98*C is the CPU safety limit, you could easily break that if the CPU is stressed/loaded.

You're much better off with a lower voltage 4.4 - 4.5 Ghz clock.

what did you set your vcore and multiplier to?

Vcore 1.3 (under load), 44x

Also dropped CPU PLL to 1.7 to reduce temps.
