Dear All ,
Normally for my knowledge on hackintosh in extra we have the kext that are loaded by the system before the rest. Premise : System with this mobo is very stable even if I'm overclocking but at any update I lose ethernet connection and audio. Normally what I did for the update to 10.10.1 was to place my IONetworkingFamily.kext and Audio kext in extra . I did the update and network was now working out of the box but audio was off. To recover it had to do normal install with kextdrop.
So I'm assuming in extra only some specific kext are loaded not all what we put there and maybe there is script involved in this. In other word why network was working and not the audio?
