Comments:
Despite the fact that there seems to be little information around for this board, I took the plunge and ordered all the bits last week. They are now starting to arrive.
My last Hackintosh was built around an Asus P7P55D EVO and using tonymac’s iBoot and MultiBeast, the install took like an hour instead of several weeks as per my two builds round about this time last year. Hence, many thanks, tonymac!
I have decided to go for an X58 board as I really need the PCIe slots. I know most people seem to favour the GA-X58A-UD3R motherboard but I have been using Asus boards for years and at the last minute, figured on going with what I like. I just hope I don’t live to regret it.
Of course I intend to document this build really carefully so that I can share my experiences with others who might be considering a similar build.
As you can imagine, my wife isn’t too happy with me!
I am familiar with aquamac’s work and will be relying on a lot of his stuff initially. However, I would love to hear from people out there who have got things working on this board.
Incidentally and for what it’s worth, I am already using a Belkin F5U602EA in my P7P55D EVO system and I’m happy to report that it works just great.

Update: 15th September 2010
I had to change the cooler as the space between the top of the rear 120mm fan and the power supply isn't sufficient to fit the radiator of the Corsair H50 which I was originally going to use, or any other water-cooling system for that matter.
The case is stunning but it is also challenging. There's not nearly as much room to play with as my other Alienware case, the one which houses my Asus P7P55D EVO Hackintosh build.
I had to buy the heatsink from Germany as no one seemed to have it in the UK. It's fairly tall at just under 160mm so I'm hoping that it will fit. NOTE: You need to get a fan with this heatsink as it doesn't come with one.
The OCZ Reaper memory is 80mm tall with the heatpipe. This doesn't leave much room to one side of the processor so I can only go up, if you know what I mean.
I have also changed the graphics card for something that runs a little cooler than my original Nvidia 9600.
I have seen a lot of posts around here regarding card readers. I found this gem here in the UK at eBuyer.com:
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/108453
Suffice to say that the 5.25" adapter in the picture doesn't come with it!
While I haven't been able to try all the card slots, it does work with those I normally use. There was no need to install any special drivers or anything. It just came up in OSX

Update: 19th September 2010
I originally specified OCZ Reaper memory but it had to go. After fitting the fan to the Prolimatech Super Mega heatsink, there simply wasn't enough clearance for the heatpipe on this memory. I replaced it with OCZ Gold XTC.
The system is physically built now. The BIOS has been set up and I'm making a USB bootloader.
The system is VERY quiet and the BIOS Hardware Monitor reports a CPU temperature of just over 30C. I don't feel the need to connect any case fans at the moment.

Update: 17th November 2010
This post seems to have had a lot of views so I can only asume that quite a few people have this board.
After a lot of work and a lot of help from one or two people on this forum, I did manage to get this set-up running 10.6.4 in 64-bit mode but not as smoothly as my P7P55D EVO machines. I was also dissapointed with the GeekBench results which I thought would be considerablly more than my P55 boards but which was in fact less! Compared to the P7P55D series, this board was indeed quite challenging but I'm not sure if I'll be taking it any further.
