Hey guys. I have asus n53sn sandy bridge laptop. I installed lion on it with my custom usb installer. Sleep, HD3000, audio, wifi works. But i have trouble with battery. I use voodoo battery. It used to be worked in snow leo. But in lion there is an X on battery icon and it doesn't show battery percentage. I know there are some solutions. One of them taking AppleACPIPlatform kext from snow leo 10.6.7. But it breaks sleep. Other solution is patching dsdt to get battery information correctly from bios. But the guy that figure out this solution made guide for hp laptop. Since my dsdt and hp dsdt quite different i couldn't apply changes to my dsdt. So if there is anybody who has sandy bridge asus laptop and gets battery worked please help me.

Thank you. I have tried this and yes in fact it is working. But AppleACPIPlatform.kext that you posted is from 10.6 which is previous os x and that causes some stability problems especially when i m using Xcode. Is there anybody else that has dsdt solution works?

Dude my wifi is atheros ar9285. Use kext that i posted. And first time you connect any network make it in system settings->network section not in menu bar. First delete connection that uses wifi and make new one then use it.

I have AR9285 as well and noticed Wifi works great only on g routers... any wifi n routers i try to connect to wont work; shows the same thing as yours, an exclamation point. try a router that is a wifi/g, and get back to us.
