What is working as of 2018-03-27
CPU seems to be working,
32GB (4x8GB) seems to be working
Network seems to be working

What is not working:
Sound
Bluetooth or WiFi

What I plan to enable: sound, bluetooth add-on card, Intel 480GB 900p next installation try.

@toncij do you have any updates on using the Maximus X Formula as a hackintosh motherboard? Were you able to get everything working on newer versions of Mac OS? If you're able to post a quick guide on your motherboard settings, installation steps etc. it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi. Since then I've moved to a Vega FE card and it's now flawless. Also 9900K on the same board. No special setup - it's almost native now, install using any basic guide.
I'm using external audio with usb, so I don't care about board audio.
Using Intel XPoint NVMe drive so don't need TRIM either (Intel SSD with XPoint does not need TRIM).
