My motherboard is an ASUS Maximus V Formula with a built in SupremeFX IV soundcard. I was able to use my Linux install to find out that the Audio Codec is ALC898. However when I try to install the ALC898 driver with Multibeast it doesn't work. I've also tried it in tandem with the "Optional 3 Port (5.1) Audio" option and the Audio ID: 2 option under HDAEnabler but it still doesn't work. Earlier in the installation process I tried install the ALC1150 and VoodooHDA v2.8.4 drivers but I thought I had completely removed them. Anyone audio working on their Maximus V Formula or other mobo with SupremeFX IV soundcard, or will I have to buy a USB soundcard to use with OS X?
Mobo: ASUS Maximus V Formula
Soundcard: SupremeFX IV which I figured out uses the ALC898 codec
OS: OS X 10.10 Yosemite
Any help would be appreciated.
