title says it all really, everything is working ok but when i select web driver and reboot it reverts back to default, just worried incase I'm missing out on performance or optimisations.

does anyone else use a gtx 780? does yours boot with web drivers?

El Capitan 10.11.3
Beta Nvidia drivers for 10.11.3

thanks i checked and you were correct the geforce web was loaded. guess its just a cosmetic bug!

J.

The preference pane looks for nvda_drv=1 to be saved in your NVRAM boot args. If you have that argument in your config but not in NVRAM you can still boot and use the web drivers but it will show the stock drivers being used. You can try to fix the cosmetic issue using this comman:

sudo nvram boot-args="nvda_drv=1"

Check to make sure you don't have anything else saved their fired by typing in:

sudo nvram boot-args

thanks jim,
that seemed to fix it but upon reboot it reverted. anyway of making this permenant . using clover

If your computer is clearing the NVRAM on restart then likely there is no fix I am aware of. My machine wouldn't save it for a long time and then started saving it all of the sudden.
