Motherboard is GA-965P-S3 which got no DSDT. Graphic Card ASUS EN210 512MB Silent

I have my EN210 512MB working by EFI String before. It works on 10.6.8, 10.7 and 10.7.1
but when I install 10.7.2, it got blackscreen when it boot into the login screen and my monitor say no signal.

I can now only control my computer by Screen Sharing with my iMac.

I open System Preferences and the Display panel. It say my Monitor is not detected and resolution selection is limited to 3 settings only.

If I delete my EFI String, I can have my screen back by with no QE CI and running at 1024x768 instead of 1080p.

I have no experience with your particular card.
BUT …
I was also using EFI string for my NVidia 9800 GT since 10.5 days.
Also worked all the way up to 10.7.1 with no issues.
Black Screen on 10.7.2 update

I deleted the device properties <EFI String> from org.chameleon.Boot.plist
Added GraphicsEnabler=Yes - which worked for me.
I have QE - water effect on adding Dashboard widget.

I have 2 displays working . .

I see on other sites that people are needing to add/edit injection in DSDT for their cards.

like this one here
Good luck

I have the Gigabyte GA-965P-S3 motherboard which I install through Easybeast and no DSDT in my installation.

I think the DSDT fix cannot be apply to my case?

I have try to delete the EFI String and leaving the GraphicEnabler=Yes. It can now boot without the black screen but just got 1024x768 as resolution and no acceleration QE CI as well. WHen I check in the System Report in Lion, the computer seems cannot recognize by card anymore.

My problem solved by Peanutman guide.

Thank you very much.

I rebuilt the EFI String using his guide and it is now working 100%.
