the issue you are facing with your 775 board isnt related to this issue, so no idea
 
It doesn't specifically say if the P8P67 Pro is for the revision 3.0 or 3.1.
I guess this rom is for the 3.0?

fyi, I own the 3.1 version ;)

Thanks for your work.

I plan doing a dual boot system (WIN7/Lion). Will your bios affect in some way to the behavior of windows 7?

Edit: Asus P8Z68-V Pro flashed and running Win7 x64 ok so far.
 
nope.
i use a dualboot with windows 7 myself.
 
Thanks for setting up that repository! Tried the BIOS for an Asus P8P67 Pro.

I have tried it two different ways now - patched kext and "native" solution using the modified BIOS. Used my own DSDT with just the MoBo and Sound patch.

For both solutions:

- sleep (and resume) seems to work without issues
- idle sleep doesn't seem to work (i.e. have to put system to sleep manually).

But native solution with modified BIOS only gives me 2 p-states, patched kext gives me 16,23,35,36 and 37. Hard choice to make which I will like more ;-).

Thanks again for taking the effort setting up the BIOS repository.

when you flash the stock rom, and use patched aicpupm, do you get the 5 states?

also, when you were using the patched kext, did you have the speed of the cores individually set in the bios?

Yep, stock ROM and patched aicpupm gives the previously mentioned 5 states.

Modified ROM and vanilla aicpupm gives me only 2 states.

I have the regular version of the CPU (not the K), don't think that allows me to set the speed of the cores individually? So no, didn't try that.
