ASRock B760 Pro RS/D4 works perfectly in Sonoma but Radeon Pro W5700 has problems!!!!

in "-x" boot mode.

mDP W5700 PCIe1 x16 gen4 monitor cable

The RX580 PCIe3 x4 gen3 doesn't cause any problems, I keep it to use the computer normally when I remove the W5700.

I repeat macOS Sonoma with only the RX580 works perfectly with all its hardware parts: WIFI/BT/USB3/Ethernet/USB2/AUDIO/NVMe gen4x4

.....but once I install the Radeon Pro W5700 it doesn't start anymore!!!!!
Works only in "-x" boot mode

What happens if you remove the RX580 ?

Is your PSU powerful enough to support both graphics cards ?

if I remove the RX580 same error on startup

The power supply supports both GPUs

I also did a clean installation of SONOMA with a USB Key and only with the W5700, everything goes smoothly then when it does the last reboot it freezes as if it couldn't load the AMD graphics driver for Radeon Pro W5700

Is the W5700 new or secondhand?
Does the W5700 have the original VBios?
Are you using any adapters or adapter cables when connecting the W5700 to the display(s)?

Radeon Pro W5700 new from the box!
mDP to DP adapter, tested with other GPUs working

Does the W5700 work correctly in other OS's, i.e. Linux or Windows, with the same cable/adapter setup?

These are the boot arguments in your config.plist.

-ctrsmt -wegnoigpu alcid=98 agdpmod=pikera debug=0x100 keepsyms=1 revpatch=cpuname,sbvmm amfi=0x80 -v

I understand the use of all of them, except '-ctrsmt', what does this do/fix?

You have all these properties present in your config.plist, but all they do is repeat/present the device properties already seen by macOS.

Screenshot 2024-03-20 at 15.05.51.png config.plist > DeviceProperties > Add section entries.

I could understand if you were adding the 'built-in' option to a few of these devices but you aren't even doing that. I would question the need for these properties. As they appear to be a straight copy of the data from the pciedvices.dsl created from Hackintool > PCIe > Export function.

The Ellesmere RX 580 entries should definitely be removed from the config, if you are booting with just the W5700 installed.

THE VIDEO CARD DOES NOT HAVE ANY DEFECTS AND WORKS PERFECTLY (W11PRO)

But the W5700 doesn't work when you use it to boot macOS!

As you have a CPU that lacks an IGPU i5-13400F, you don't need the -wegnoigpu boot argument in your config.plist.

Post a copy of the EFI folder you are using to boot Sonoma with your W5700 installed.
Which version of Sonoma are you trying to boot? Sonoma 14.3.1 or older I hope as the latest release 14.4 isn't playing nice at present.

With RX580 this EFI (attached) works great, all the hardware works.
I replace the RX580 with the Radeon Pro W5700 freezes on startup!!! (attached)

I really don't know what to do!!!
I'm in Panic!!!
