Are G.SKILL Ripjaws Series ram okay?

I'm doing a second build on GIGABYTE GA-H55M-S2H, on my first build I used G.SKILL ECO Series 4GB (2 x 2GB), which worked great. But when I went on newegg to buy them for my second build they were sold out and thinking of just getting 8gb of ram instead.

I'm thinking of buying this
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666)

I got some G skill ripjaws for 50 bucks from newegg. Cas 7 1333 2x2 gig. They work great!

Ripjaws series is fine. You won't get as low power usage as the Eco series, but G.Skill is good stuff.

I always buy the DDR3 1600, but my machine is overclocked. If you plan to overclock you would likely want at least 1600, but 1333 is just fine if you are going to go with the stock CPU speed.

These look good though. They are a little more, $50 but worth it. Especially if you want to do a high overclock.

Did you check on your MB's product page for the memory guide?

At 1300, they recommend the -4GBHK and -4GBECO G.Skill RAM, both of which are dual signal (?) requiring two RAM sticks.

At 1600, they recommend the -4GBECO, again, dual signal.

So, the Ripjaws are overkill. However, he said, I have the Ripjaws in my system. Since my MB is a mATX, the Ripjaw fins interfere with my CPU cooler's fan shroud, and I had to adjust the fan on the cooler to compensate.

If you don't want to overclock a lot, then the Gigabyte recommended sticks will work on your H55M MB.
