Are Both Kepler and Fermi GT 640 Graphics Cards Work OOB With Mountain Lion?
How do I know which type the card is? Most of the manufacturers don't mention it in their product's specifications.

Fermi versions of the GT640 are only for OEM resellers available. So every card on the market is based on Kepler GPU.

According to your previous reply, it is no big difference between the GT640 cards from Asus, MSI, Gigabyte or Zotac. All they are Kepler and should work fine with Mountain Lion, right?

Nvidia GT 640 Compatible??

I'm on ML,
I have an Nvidia Geforce GT 640 (no need for drivers or anything ML should have all the drivers...)
Whenever I try to play high res videos regardless the codec and format it doesn't playback and the whole system freezes
Did any of you guys experience anything similar?
