Apps refusing to open.

So I've got everything running PERFECTLY!! until..
To the best of my knowledge it started when I installed Skype, or maybe Skype is where I first noticed it. But a few apps refuse to open. So far the only cases I've noticed are on Skype and touch grind. If I open them they act as though they are opening and then simply disappear. I'd like to avoid reloading cause I just deleted my CCC in favor of tossing ubuntu on it. Any ideas?

Ok, so apparently the cause was my opencl hexedits. I did a new set, and my luxmark dropped from 7200 to about 5500... BUT I regained access to my other apps.
