After Mavericks installation with latest Multibeast everything looked fine, but on my console there were a lot of errors like this:

SMC::smcReadKeyAction ERROR TB0T kSMCBadArgumentError(0x89) fKeyHashTable=0x0xffffff8013575400
They keep coming at 20 of them per minute.

Installed the latest fakesmc.kext (5.4.944) but the errors keep coming with no change.

I then found this page : http://www.osx86.net/files/file/158-smc-error-fix-for-mavericks/

Its the AppleSmc.kext from 10.8.4 and after i rolled back to that version, no more console erros.

Does anyone have another solution for this?
I don't really like rolling back kexts.

Thanks in advance.

Should i post this on the Mavericks Desktop Support section?? Admin can you move?

I had almost the same problem, error messages like: "SMC::smcReadKeyAction ERROR" and the system won't boot.
When I edited org.chameleon.Boot.plist and added these lines:
<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<string>dart=0</string>

The system worked!
