Hi. I'm trying to install OS X 10.8.2 on a PC from an USB drive created with UniBeast, but it hangs during the boot before the installation process begin, and in verbose mode it gives this error:
Code:
AppleRTL8169Ethernet: phyWaitForAutoNegotiation TIMEOUT

I've searched online but I did't find any solution, can you help me please?

same problem here..is there a way to bypass the network while installing ML??

laptop hp g72

i have this problem too on a Lenovo Machine

is anybody here can help?

It is likely NOT a network problem.

Please provide complete details in your profile.

System: manufacturer/model
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + screen resolution

Not the same person but i have the same problem.

My Laptop is also Lenovo. I'm trying to install Mavericks.

System: Lenovo G460
CPU: [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif] Intel Core-i5 460M @2.53 GHz
Graphics: [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Intel HD Graphics

[/FONT]I've tried -x -f -v and graphicsEnabled=no with no success.

The instalation stops at AppleRTL8169Ethernet: phyWaitForAutoNegotiation TIMEOUT
[/FONT]
Hope someone can help.

For your unsupported graphics, you need to remove the Intel kexts.

And then you'll need to do some work to make it work, see: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/286092-guide-1st-generation-intel-hd-graphics-qeci/

FYI: It is not graphicsEnabled, but GraphicsEnabler. Boot flags are both case and spelling sensitive.
