AppleHDA on mavericks?

Do you have patched DSDT with HDEF inject as layout 12?

This is my patched AppleHDA, install with KextWizard.

Thanks，using KextWizard, your AppleHDA and my own DIY version all works!

Looks like some thing wrong with my permission/cache repair/rebuild.

and then, I tried
1.Use full path /S/L/E/AppleHDA.kext
2.Delete kernelcache
3.kextcache -system-prelinked-kernel; kextcache -system-caches

And it also works.

Step3 hasn't been taken in my previous failed operation.

But if I use 10.8.4 AppleHDA.kext, it works without having to care about the full path and step3.

1. binary patch to AppleHDA (have tried 8b19d411->05761d11 with or without 8419d411->00000000)

No need to try random stuff, our audio vendor/device ID is 111d7605.

I'm also confused with that, but if you use path-hda(3.1) which seems also been used by hp-installer, it will modify 8419D411 to 00000000.

As far as I know 8419D411 doesn't equate to anything involving our patch of AppleHDA. It is not the patch codec and it is not the target codec. See above...

Maybe I was wrong, but when I explored the HP-Installer package, I can see patch-hda utility is there,I haven't tried that one ,but tried to use bcc's patch-hda to patch AppleHDA, then compared the patched version with vanilla one, it did modify 8419D411 to 00000000.

Maybe the patch-hda in HP-Installer is not the same with bcc's ?

BTW, I also have similar experience with you: modification on kpkp's 10.8.4 AppleHDA will give out lots sound assertion notification, but it works at least!
