AppleACPIPlatform & IOPCIFamily

I am new here, so congratulations for the stuff and greetings from Greece.
(I apologize for my poor english.)

Many times i get Kernel Panics that seems to have to do with AppleACPIPlatform / IOPCIFamily.kext or dependencies. I use IOPCIFamily on System/Library/Extensions for enabling Web Cam and Left USB port. I tried to delete it from Extensions and see what happens but system crashed, not even boot on SL. My laptop is HP DV5 1130ev. Now of course i have recovered my working system with backup restore.

But random KPs remain.

Try use DSDTSE to patch your dsdt.aml as replacement of faulty HP BIOS.

Or

Get the full set of kexts from Notebookinstaller. Replace everything.

Thanks for the reply.

I have compiled my own dsdt.aml from the beggining that installed SL on laptop.
I tried also NBI but got some others KP there. My laptop isnt supported for this specific installer. (DV5 1130)
