Apple Updating...Yes or No?

Hey guys,

I was just wondering is it ok to download apple updates on a Hackintosh or is it going to mess something up?

I have a feeling it's a no but I just want to be sure.

If it is system updates you have to check here BEFORE you update.

As of now, all updates to 10.7.3. work as should w/out any problems.

If it is software, apps, security updates, whatever, etc. it is ok to update and you will be fine.

Make sure you always have a backup of your system.

Also if using the automatic updater, be sure to have MacPro System Definition. Otherwise better download the Combo Update manually everytime to get all necessary files.
