Apple Remote and RealVNC not working

Since the installation of Maveriks I seemed to have lost the ability to control hackintoshes with Apple Remote 3.7 and previous, and the RealVNC app 5.05 and previous.

I am not certain what happened but I have tried all combinations I can think of, Firewall on, Firewall off, adding the service to the firewall, removing it, then on Sharing, I have tried every share on the book I could think of.

The off part is that I have a MacBook and a Mackbook Pro, and ReanVNC work well on both. I have tried to replicate their parameters to no avail.

Does anyone in the community has the same issues? how did you guys solved this if any?

To those looking for a solution to controling remotely the 10.9 maveriks and Apple Remote does not work, and RealVNC is not working either, the only solition I could came up with was Teamviewer.

It is free for non comercial use. And it works.

But for the moment Hackintoshes will not work with other remote controls, to my knowledge. Until proven differently.

The latest update 10.9.3 will solve the problem with Apple remote 3.7

Clean install highly recommended.
