@mikeydanger,

MacOs does not use the VBIOS on any AMD card so it does not matter where you put the BIOS switch.
MacOS controls the GPU directly through its optimised drivers and embedded VBIOS.

I'm building new system right now with this card. My primary use is for video editing with Adobe Premiere Pro.

I will NEVER use this machine for gaming, so Compute Mode seems more logical to me.

Do you mean the switch on the card for different firmwares? Maybe Gaming Mode has higher clock speeds I don't know. But make sure you switch while the power is off.
