ColorWare has just announced a limited edition run of (10) Apple IIe-inspired custom MacBooks. Great old beige color with old Apple logo as well as mock air ducts on either side. Costs $3000 though.

Ive seen a skin exactly like that about a year ago. They actually did the painting? WoW.

I don't see it, paying 3k for a MacBook that has been painted. I rather buy a skin, which I can remove at one point, if I don't like it anymore. Sure, it's not as seamless as real paint, but cheaper for sure :-D

If you have one of these it's a Mac and still under warranty.
Why are you running an installer ?
