I have started building a Hackintosh with an ASUS P8Z77-V mobo. Can anyone tell me if I will be able to use an external Magic Trackpad with Mountain Lion? Is it a USB connection? thanks

Magic Trackpad (and Magic Mouse) are Bluetooth connected, so you will need a compatible USB Bluetooth adapter. Several are listed on the Wiki. I personally recommend the IOGear GBU521, which is compatible with OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion OOB, and is available from Amazon for $12.99.
