I’ve gone through the OpenCore guide and installed High Sierra with a very vanilla package (no DSDT/SSDT needed). EVERYTHING works except for the App Store. I can search and view everything in the store, but I can’t download any apps. I get an error that says “Failed to Download, Use the Purchases Page to Try Again.”
From everything I’ve read this is usually related to Ethernet. My Ethernet (Realtek 8168 on a Gigabyte board, RTL8168/8111) is supported and shows en0 as built-in. I have a separate drive with High Sierra installed with Clover and I’ve never had this issue so I’m at a loss. I’m using the same kext on each build.
I’ve cleared network preferences and NVRAM to no avail. Console shows trustd errors when I click on Install:
* "could not enable test hierarchy: no UAT pinning preferences set"
* "Leaf has invalid basic constraints"
* "ocsp responder: (null) did not include status of requested cert
Storedownload errors:
* NSURLConnection finished with error - code -1100
* Trust evaluate failure: \[leaf ExtendedKeyUsage\] \[ca1 IntermediateEKU\]
* HashedDownloadProvider: Failed to initialize decryption session with error -42408
* TIC TCP Conn Cancel \[9:0x7f9081e2df00\]
* TIC TCP Conn Destroyed \[11:0x7f9081d44460\]
Console also shows constant WebKit errors (too many to list) all the time.
