App Store and Ethernet

Hey all

I have Mountain Lion running on my hack-mac and I cant seem to get the App store to log on. I keep getting the message "An unknown error has occured" I read on the forum that some people used the EFI Injector, but this didnt help me!
Does anyone know a fix for this issue? And how to I enable my ethernet port?

My spec is as follows:

Intel i7 IvyBridge (turboboost to 4.5ghz)
16GB Corsair Vengeance Ram
Nvidia GTX 670 2GB
Asus P8Z77 V Pro mobo
Antec Kuhler 920


Any help would be appreciated.

youll need working ethernet before you use the app store.
did you install the driver for ethernet?

if you didnt, thats why its not working.
select hnak's intel lan kext from multibeast

Do I have to run Multibeast again?

Will it effect OSX's ability to boot again? I remember running it before and it didnt boot after second time running!

Also, I had ethernet installed and when I read other posts about the app store, removing it and adding it again sorts it. But when I removed it, ethernet was not available in the list to add it again.

It says in my network settings i have ethernet, but in system profiler. it says i dont.

what should i do?

There has to be some way of adding ethernet post-installation!

My system is up and running again (after i had to install again because chameleon wrecked it)

I just need to add an ethernet driver so that the App store will let me log on. grrrrrr

Just run Multibeast again and only select the ethernet driver.

I have the M version of your board.

In Multibeast, select the Lnx2mac Realtek driver.
Also, make sure your chameleon boot plist file has EthernetBuiltIn=yes

SOLVED:

I ran multibeast again and used the AppleIntelEthernet1000 driver...

All worked and up and running. At last lol



just got to sort Parallels desktop now :-/
