Tonight I tried to update my Sierra HACK to High Sierra. System is as my sig with boot drive a Samsung 960 PRO NVMe M.2 SSD. Sierra 10.2.6 running fine prior to attempting High Sierra upgrade via MAS.

Before the upgrade I did:
1. Added apfs.efi to /EFI/CLOVER/drivers64UEFI
2. Updated Lilu and FakeSMC kext's.
3. Deleted HackrNVMeFamily kext - based on reading that HS supports my SSD natively.

Started the upgrade. Prompted to restart. Restarted and immediately after BIOS ASUS ROG flash screen I see:
APFSStart:1454: Mounting with apfs_efi_osx-748.31.8 efi_container_create:1077: -efi_container-create status = 8000000000000007
APFSStart:1454: Mounting with apfs_efi_osx-748.31.8 efi_container_create:1077: -efi_container-create status = 8000000000000007
APFSStart:1454: Mounting with apfs_efi_osx-748.31.8 efi_container_create:1077: -efi_container-create status = 8000000000000007

flash by before the Clover Boot Screen is displayed. I select "Boot macOS Install from MyHD". Se the Apple logo and progress gets to about half way before I get a not permission/no entry symbol. I restarted and added -v boot args and I see the message "Still waiting for root device".

I'm thinking that this is due to me deleting the HackrNVMeFamily kext and the HS installer needs device support for the SSD?

Anyway to recover from this?

@esreborn, please update your profile (personal details) with your Motherboard, CPU and iGPU or Graphics Card.
If you have a prebuilt computer enter make and model instead of motherboard (Mobo).

Thanks for letting me know, I've updated my profile signature to include it.

I have also solved the issue, was related to specific kexts files and my config.plist.
