Apfsstart :1384 screen and distorted Apple boot screen help fix please

I’m getting a screen saying apfsstart :1384 on boot along with distorted Apple boot logo after updating to High Sierra 10.13 can someone please point me to a fix for this.

I'm seeing the same thing with my gigabyte motherboard.

Everything is working great after upgrade to High Sierra 10.13, but I do see this same apfsstart :1384 on boot. Does anyone know a way to fix that?
