Hi, I recently updated from 10.15.1 to 10.15.4 and an hour after the update was completed, I began experiencing some problems with my apps- Xcode wouldn’t open gits from websites, third party apps won’t open and their icons disappeared. After I rebooted this is what I got:

After it was done displaying the same thing over and over again, this is what I was left with- an Apple logo and a stationary progress bar:

I tried safe mode (-x) but the same thing happened. I tried recovery mode through the recovery partition and attempted to use first aid on Disk Utility but it too didn’t work. Here’s the video. I don’t have another machine running macOS to identify the problem with the drive and fix it so if anyone can help me, I would be very grateful.
