Time for me to upgrade from my 120GB SSD and this Crucial Tech drive has great read/write specs and is cheap right now; around $218CDN.

Any reasons I might not want it for my Yosemite system?

cheers

Needless to say I'm happy with the upgrade! :headbang:

I am using two MX-100 512 GB drives in a Raid 0 configuration with Yosemite. I shopped around and these MX-100's are really nice, Crucial is a great brand with good online resources and tech support, and the price was really great. I have had zero issues with these. I also use a couple of San Disk Extreme SSD's, and honestly cannot see any difference from a user perspective. I do not use TRIM, and in order to keep garbage collection running, I disabled "Put hard disks to sleep when possible" in settings->energy saver.

I am surprised that the MX-100 is not in the Buyer's Guide since the value is hard to beat.
