I'm looking to use both the mac bluetooth keyboard along with the new magic trackpad.

I've read reports of some bluetooth dongles working with one but not the other, or not both at the same time.

Anyone here using both of them? I'm wondering what bluetooth dongle you're using?

I'm using the TRENDnet TBW-101UB V2 (an old one) and works well with both.

Any Bluetooth dongle that says Mac compatible will work. I'm using this one:

Jabra A320s Bluetooth 2.0 EDR - USB Adapter

with these:

Apple Wireless Keyboard

Apple Magic Mouse
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002TLTGM6?ie=UTF8

Apple Magic Trackpad

I have all 3 working perfectly with it- just no wakey-wakey from sleepy-sleepy. For that function you'll need the Targus model. But from what I hear- it's not all it's cracked up to be as far as reliability goes.

Thanks for the info!

Generally speaking, are most adapters labeled mac-compatible good to go then?

This is the one am currently using, found on ebay and snapped up for £10. :D
Working perfectly, only nagging problem is with bluetooth keyboards, is that you will need a wired or usb wireless keyboard to enter bios options on start up, but how often will you need to do this.... hopefully not that often!

Which Targus model allows "wakey-wakey from sleepy-sleepy?" Is it any Targus model?

I don't think I will be using it for a keyboard/mouse for a while (or ever for that matter) but seeing as how it would only be a few extra bucks I might as well maximize compatibility.

Thanks.

Hey,

I've just managed to get my Trust 2400p (15542-02) to "wakey wakey from sleepy sleepy"

Check out my guide here: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=7940
